Spoffin and De Lieve Vrouw proudly present Herinner Ons by Gouden Haas

This year, Spoffin joins forces with De Lieve Vrouw! The performance "Herinner Ons" by Gouden Haas and the theater from Amersfoort will be performed during Spoffin. Tickets are available from today via De Lieve Vrouw's website and, of course, at the box office at Lieve Vrouwekerkhof.

"Herinner Ons" is a musical gathering in the open air where a commission of ecologists, ritual guides, artists, and a group of woodlice seek ways to commemorate endangered animals, plants, and natural phenomena such as melting glaciers. It is an attempt to pause and reflect on what is disappearing unnoticed. But also on the wonder of life, the resilience of nature, and everything that still exists.

Reflecting on ecological challenges

Gouden Haas is a company from Almere that, together with the audience, practices responding to (ecological) challenges of our time. How do we move from an isolated worldview to a worldview where everything is interconnected? How do we shift from egocentrism to ecocentrism? This requires hard data or feverish solutions, space, stillness, and imagination.

"Herinner Ons" is part of Spoffin and will be shown twice during the festival. The location will be announced at a later date. "Herinner Ons" is the only performance during Spoffin that is not freely accessible: tickets can be purchased via the website of partner and co-organizer De Lieve Vrouw, both online and at the box office.

Working with De Lieve Vrouw

Spoffin will take place on August 23, 24, and 25. The performances will mainly take place at outdoor locations in and around the historical city center of Amersfoort. The festival is proud to collaborate again with De Lieve Vrouw and further deepen their partnership.

This year, around 27 acts will be featured at Spoffin. Almost all performances are freely accessible: afterward, visitors decide for themselves how much they want to pay. The proceeds after the performances go to the artists. The full program will be announced on July 1.
