Collectief DansBlok wins the VKZ Spoffin OFF Award 2024

The Dutch dance company Collectief DansBlok won the VKZ Spoffin OFF Award 2023 on the Sunday of the thirteenth edition of Spoffin. The act received the award from festival director and artistic director Alfred Konijnenbelt and with it a cash prize of € 2,500 for creating a new performance.
Third place went to the Austrian circus group ConTakt, the second to the Dutch Cie CA. Collectief Dansblok won the VKZ Spoffin Off Award for their act FRAME, which performed every day during the festival weekend.
The VKZ Spoffin OFF Award was created to stimulate upcoming talent. The prize is intended for the most appreciated act from the Spoffin OFF program during the festival. The choice for the winner was made by the public. More than 37.5 percent of the votes went to Collectief DansBlok. A total of 253 visitors cast their vote.
The Spoffin OFF Award is there thanks to our sponsor VKZ BV. VKZ wants to further develop talent development in the world of street theatre. The € 2,500 won is a contribution to developing a new show for the winner. Collectief DansBlok will have the opportunity to do a residency in Amersfoort for a week, which will take place a week before the next edition of Spoffin.
