Young talent, register for Spoffin OFF!

Attention upcoming theater talent: registration for Spoffin OFF 2024 is open now! Spoffin, the international street arts festival, will once again offer theater talent a stage during the thirteenth edition. In Spoffin OFF, young makers and established artists who want to show something new get the opportunity to present themselves to a wide audience and theater professionals from all over Europe. Furthermore, OFF artists also have a chance to win the VKZ Spoffin OFF Award! 

Every year, Spoffin offers a stage to young, professional theater talent from home and abroad with the Spoffin OFF program. The artists selected for Spoffin OFF are not only allowed to perform during the festival, everything is taken into account: Spoffin OFF provides, among other things, good performance areas, extensive publicity through the press, social media, the program booklet, the app and website, countless opportunities to to network with programmers from other festivals and fellow artists.

Artists receive all audience contributions that volunteers collect after each performance. In addition: reimbursement of travel or transport costs, hotel accommodation and meals from the best festival kitchen in the Netherlands, together with other artists, professionals and festival staff.

Registration  

Artists can register from January 1 to February 29 2024, 11:59:59 PM. The final selection will be announced in April 2024. The Spoffin OFF program of the thirteenth edition of Spoffin, which will take place in 2024 on August 23, 24 and 25, is put together by an expert jury of professionals and Spoffin's artistic director Alfred Konijnenbelt.

Criteria for selection include artistic aspects such as originality, expressiveness, professionalism and interaction with the public and public space.

VKZ Spoffin OFF Award 

Thanks to main sponsor VKZ, the VKZ Spoffin OFF Award will be presented again in 2024. The prize is a check for € 2,500, a contribution towards the development of a new show for the winner. The winner will have the opportunity to do a residency in Amersfoort, which will take place a week before the next edition of Spoffin.
