Lucky Fonz III is one of the Netherlands' most beloved singers and live artists, known for hits such as 'Ik heb een meisje', 'Linde met een E' and 'App Me'.
Recently Lucky surprised everyone with his completely unique album 'Multimens', an eclectic collection of Dutch pop songs with roots in folk and even house. The album was well received by both press and public and led to a triumphant tour through sold-out club halls full of passionate fans.
Lucky has acquired a special place in the cultural landscape in recent years. As a singer-songwriter, he made seven albums, including the Dutch albums 'Hoe je Honing Maakt', 'In Je Nakie' and 'Multimens'. As a live performer, Lucky conquered the clubs and festivals such as Lowlands and Pinkpop, but also the cabaret audience with his theater shows. He also caused a furore on TV; ao. as a music connoisseur on programs such as DWDD and Pauw, as a participant in De Slimste Mens. As a writer, Lucky Fonz III has published various columns, poems and short stories. He also wrote the English libretto for the song cycle The Secret Diary of Nora Plain, described by The New York Times as “a haunting cycle about privacy, surveillance and erotic obsession”.
