Cia. Vero Cendoya [CAT] La Partida

Contemporary dance and football: a perfect combination! Or is it? Five dancers, five footballers and one referee on a stage demonstrate he similarities and differences between the two disciplines. A reflection of the needs and priorities of the human being. Passion and humor, strength and sensitivity, animalistic tendencies and sophistication clash in a game in which the protagonists and spectators risk their lives on the playing field.

Moritz Award (Fira Tàrrega 2015) and Award best outdoors show – Premis de la Crítica (Catalonia’s Theatre Critics Awards)

Trained as a dancer, actress and visual artist, Vero Cendoya is an eclectic art maker who brings choreography, theatre, visual art and live music together. As a choreographer she has always been interested in the question of what role contemporary dance plays nowadays and confronts it with other disciplines’ concepts. According to Cendoya there are no boundaries between art forms.

A must see.
